Update 25 Safr 1435h: houthis supported in their massive attack on Ahlus Sunnah in Kitaaf by Yemeni Military Soldiers and Government Weapons

Today started just like the last 80 days: sniper fire, occasional heavy artillery, etc. Another committee made an attempt to enter Dammaaj today and they were refused entry by the houthis. Apparently the committee wanted to bring the ICRC in with them and the houthis denied them as usual.

In the attack on the main Masjid after the Jum'ah prayer yesterday, two children were hurt from the cannon artillery fired by the houthis. As well an elderly man was shot by sniper fire.

In another story, one of the houthi members in Sa'dah stabbed his mother to death and critically injured his sister. The altercation occurred yesterday when his mother refused to give her son (the houthi) her sheep when he demanded. The houthi wanted to sell the sheep to give the money in charity to the houthi cause in regret that he didn't participate in the war on Dammaaj. Link to article in Arabic

Last night's attack in Kitaaf consisted of 8 state of the art tanks or more, rockets, a number of cannons and a large number of soldiers. Sheikh Jameel and the students had to abandon the Masjid due to the intensity of the attack. Kitaaf is another institute of Ahlus Sunnah in Sa'dah like Dammaaj. There are daily lessons and a number of students who live near the Masjid (the institute). Sheikh Jameel As-Suluwi is the head teacher in the Kitaaf institute. Thousands of Muslims have gathered there to attempt to lift the siege and stop the heinous acts of terrorism from the houthis on the inhabitants of Dammaaj. There are claims that there are political figures who benefit from keeping this atrocity going (article link). Allah the most High says:

Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Dhaalimoon (polytheists, wrong doers, oppressors) do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror. {14:042}

Claim turns out to be Fact #19: houthis get support from within the Yemeni Military

The Exposing of the Yemeni Military's support and provisions provided by Brigadier General of Army Brigade 117 to the houthi group in Sa'dah

English Translation:

An officer from 117 Mashaa Brigade in the province of Sa’dah, North Yemen exposed the secret dealings of its affiliated General with the armed houthi military unit as well as supplying them with their needs from within the Army barracks such as tents and military equipment (tools and the likes).

The source who asked that his name and position remain anonymous elucidated whilst speaking to Sa’dah Online that on Saturday 14th of December 2013 'Ali Al-Hayaani general of the 117 Mashaa Brigade alongside Yahya Al-Hanoof in charge of state of affairs at the barracks supplied one of the houthi leaders with tents and military equipment specific for the army barracks after orders given by the houthi leader and second in charge Abu 'Ali Al-Hakeem all before the eyes and ears of those affiliated with the brigade.

All this to cover their requirements needed in the Madhaab district by Alaa Amar which the houthis have adopted as a solace for those killed during their recent onslaught and transgression on Dammaaj.

The source added that many of the general soldiers and generals were stricken with great rage by the actions of the Brigadier General, angrily asking one anther, "How is he aiding the houthis in order that they cover the requirements of their solace, those commissioned to kill the innocent as opposed to helping the oppressed people of Dammaaj who it is an obligation for us to protect? It is as if they (the houthis) are his generals."

He also said, "After we saw him today we can never deem it strange that he aids them again someday or another with weaponry and ammunition helping them to launch attacks against the innocent of Sa’dah in addition kill soldiers and Army Generals in Sa’dah as has happened in the past, if he hasn't already helped upply them previously."

In concluding his statement the source demanded from the command of the Ministry of Defense and the Army reassurance upon legal intercourse as well as undertaking what is obligatory upon them for the apparent treachery to the Yemeni Government and its contract of obeying commands.that occurred and that is still occurring from the Army Generals in its Army’s leadership.

Update 21 Safr 1435h: Day 77 of the houthi's war on Al-Islaam and the Muslims

Day 77: 

This last week has been somewhat calmer. There is an occasional fire from heavy artillery but the houthi snipers are still relentless. Still there are students being killed and injured daily. Every night, all hours of the night, the houthis blast their speeches and music on loud speakers from different directions sometimes simultaneously.  

Yesterday we buried a young boy named Mu'aad An-Nakha'i. He was murdered by a shot from a houthi sniper to his head . Today we buried another young boy Hamza As-Sumaali Ad-Daaroodi. He was killed by shrapnel that went into his head. Two other students were injured at and around the time Hamza was injured. 

The white surveillance plane that has been hovering over us since before the first siege has been very busy these last 5 or 6 days. Usually keeping a schedule starting after about 4p.m. until 7 to 8p.m. Also a appeared to be military helicopter was spotted flying over yesterday.

 It is said that the houthis are planning a big hujoom (attack). They have recently built a station for their tank in one of the mountainous areas that surround the Markaz (the institute).  It is said they they want to attack the main Masjid and maybe even they will attack the shelters for the women and the children which they have done throughout this siege.


There has been an increase in the fierce fighting between some of the prominent Tribes of Yemen and the houthis. Particularly the former Presidential candidate Hussein Al-Ahmar from the tribe of Hashid. In general the people of the Sunnah from the tribes and other than them in Yemen are well aware of the reality of the of houthis. It is known that they are a heretical militant terrorist group who fight Al-Islaam in the name of Al-Islaam and are the perpetrators of various criminal acts upon the people of Yemen. The people have chose to follow that which Al-Islaam orders and to aid their brothers in Dammaaj. Not as many misinterpret that this is a sectarian war or some type of power struggle. This is simply an act of terrorism that many have chose to keep quiet about. Many of the Yemenis believe that it is some sort of outside pressure or influence that has subdued the Yemeni Government and are preventing them to aid in any way.

There is a total concensus amongst the Scholars of Yemen, many of the Scholars of Saudia who are aware of this crisis and the Tribes of Yemen for jihaad (struggle) against the oppression and tyranny of the houthis.

Claim: Nabil Al-Bukeri says "the houthi group does not want to disarm."

Nabil Al-Bukeri, who heads the Center for Arabic Studies, said the current conflict in Dammaj town in Saada has been anticipated as the houthi group does not want to disarm.
"This group has realized that the dialogue, in which it is participating, will produce outcomes to end the year-long power vacuum" and that armed groups now controlling many of the cities would have to surrender their weapons. It started the war against the Salafists so as to get more advantages through negotiations at the expense of implementing the dialogue's outcomes," he said. "Dialogue's success and efforts to lay the ground work for a new, stable state is the target of such conflict."Al-Bukeri said.

Claim: There are Army bases working with the houthis

It is said that there are a number of Army bases in Sa'dah that are working with the houthis in this siege and attack. We don't know this to be true but we know they seem to have an unlimited source of artillery (mainly heavy artillery). Night and day for the past forty plus days relentless sniping with machine gun fire at the least. We ask how else did the houthis acquire heavy weaponry that only the government is supposed to have???
