About the book:
This book emphasizes on the proper cultivation for the Muslim Nation (Ummah )upon the correct Creed according to Al-Islaam. As well as the basic teachings of some of the acts of worship and the importance of upright manners and etiquettes of a Muslim. All of this is presented to the reader along with evidences from the Qur’aan and the Sunnah in a simple question and answer format. The book has compiled in it 50 questions in explaining the correct Islaamic Belief which the Messenger of Allah -may the prayer and salutations be upon him -was sent to convey to the whole of mankind and the Jinn. The contents of this book were extracted from the Qur’aan and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Pious Predecessors of this Ummah (the Companions and the two rightly guided generations after them).
Also contained in this book’s contents are 41 questions, instructions, and advices in explaining the most important matters of Purification, Prayer and etiquettes and mannerisms in dealing with others.
Know- may Allah have mercy on us and you and repel from us every evil- the contents of this book are from the type of knowledge which is incumbent upon every Muslim to learn and act upon. So we strongly advise to be diligent and listen attentively to the lessons.
Imaam Ahmad said:
Its incumbent upon the servant (of Allah) to learn that which enables him to establish his Religion (Deen). A questioner asks, “From the likes of what?” Imaam Ahmed said, “That which is not for him to be ignorant of such as his Prayer, Fasting and the like.”
Imaam Muhammad bin abdul Wahhaab said: “Know –may Allah have mercy on you- Seeking knowledge is an obligation and a cure for sick hearts. The most important thing upon the servant is the understanding of his Deen. Which if he learns it and acts upon it, it (acting upon this knowledge) will be a means of him entering the Paradise and being ignorant of that and neglecting it is the means of entering the Hell-Fire –may Allah protect us all from it.”
The Author:
The author of this treatise is our beloved Sheikh Al-‘Alaamah Al-Muhaddith of Yemen Abu abdur Rahman Yahyaa bin ‘Ali Al-Hajoori -may Allah preserve him- . He is from the well-known callers from the people of the Sunnah. He was a student of the Reviver of his era the Imaam Muqbil bin Haadi Al-Waadiee’- may Allah have mercy on him. This is a small beneficial treatise from his many works in aiding the Deen of Allah and spreading knowledge. Sheikh Yahyaa has approximately 80 books some not printed and published yet.
About the Lesson:
The book will be explained by our virtuous Sheikh and Caller abdul Raqeeb Al-Kowkabaani.-may Allah preserve him-. The lesson will be translated into English by our Noble brother Abu ‘Atiyyah Mahmood bin Muhammed As-Somaali
